To offset the carbon footprint of a return trip by plane, we will plant 100 trees which will neutralise the equivalent amount of CO2 in 18 months.
The calculations are made on the basis of a return journey of 2,000 km with a CO2 footprint of 285 kg of CO2 / participant / 1,000 km traveled, i.e. 570 kg of CO2.
