To offset the carbon footprint of an overnight stay, we will plant 16 trees which will absorb the equivalent amount of CO2 in 1 year.
The calculations were made on a footprint of 80 kg of CO2 per night. These figures are extrapolated from the study carried out by the Accor Hotels Group in 2016. This study shows a balance of 1.4 million tonnes of CO2 for 56 million nights, or 80 kg of CO2 per night.
